Blog Awards & Welcome to New Followers

Today was a nice day for doing blog updates. I managed to write most of my reviews for recently read books, do some basic blog maintenance and catch up on others blogs. Also I finally got around to nominating awards and posting the awards (this post to be exact) I received recently.

I also wanted to say a big welcome and thank you to all the new followers that think my blog is worth following.

And to my "old" followers thank you as well for all the support you have given me since I started blogging.

I never thought when I started this blog that people other then a few friends and family would find my reviews interesting.

I have recently been given some new shiny awards. As well as some older awards that I have previously received (and diligently passed on). I did notice that my side bar where I posted the award pictures, was just getting a little long. I found this groovy slide show application that will display the awards nicely.

Humane Award
The Humane Award is to honor certain bloggers that I feel are kindhearted individuals. They regularly take part in my blog and always leave the sweetest comments. If it wasn't for them, my site would just be an ordinary book review blog. Their blogs are also amazing and are tastefully done on a daily basis. I thank them and look forward to our growing friendships through the blog world.

    Congrats to you Caspette! You deserve every award! Thank you for passing one on to me as well. I really enjoy your blog and your friendship. You always have such fun things here. I'm trying to install that slide show for my awards too. I started it last month and never finished it. I have a lot of maintenance to do and you've inspired me to catch up and clean up. I hope you're enjoying Finger Lickin' Fifteen. I can't wait to start it! It wouldn't be summer without a new Stephanie Plum. Enjoy your weekend!

    Kaye - I agree it is a wonderful thing that you can be friends with some one you have never physically met in another country all because of the wonderful internet.

    Wrighty - Finger Lickin Fifteen was fantastic. Im thinking I will bump it up the review posting list as I know a few people have it on their own Mt TBRs.

    Bumbles - LOL it does feel a bit like Oscars night doesnt it.
