Teaser Tuesday : 26 May 09

Teaser Tuesdays hosted by Should be Reading asks you to:
  • Grab your current read
  • Let the book fall open to a random page
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Do NOT post anything that could spoil the plot of the book!
"Sitting at Prim's knees, guarding her, is the world's ugliest cat. Mashed-in nose, half of one ear missing, eyes the colour of rotting squash. Prim named him Buttercup, insisting that his muddy yellow coat matched the bright flower. He hates me."
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins Page 3-4

  8. I just can't get motivated to read this one. I think the overall concept is just too horrifying and sad to delve into. I might never watch Survivor the same way!
