CBCA 2012 Book of the Year Shortlist

I was pleased to see yesterday that the Children's Book Council Australia (CBCA) has just announced it's short lists for children's book of the year 2012. The winners will be announced in August 2012.

It was great to see that John Flanagan and Jackie French made the short list for the younger readers category. While I have not yet read the books nominated they are on my Mt TBR and I have read other books written by these authors and loved them.
