I would like to apologise to my followers for being absent for quite a fair while. There have been some big changes in my life recently.
I recently gave birth to a healthy little boy and he has been taking up a huge chunk of time (as Im sure you can imagine) and I have had little time to read. It has taken me two months to get half way through my current book (eeek) and I really like it!
Previously before that while I was pregnant I was really ill throwing up every day so was not overly motivated to read let alone blog. Also for some strange reason nearly everything I did manage to read I hated. Bizarre.
Also me and Goggle Reader have been having issues. Hopefully I have finally worked them out so I can start following your blogs more closely. There was also a new laptop so I lost a lot of my book marked blogs oopss!
So I will not really be participating in weekly meme's for the time being and hopefully reviews will start to pick up as things settle with my life and I can better allocate time to reading. Also you will no doubt see more children's books appearing on here.
Thanks for your support!
Welcome back! Too bad about the computer. I just got a new harddrive and we are all adjusting to the loss of our bookmarked sites. In some ways, it's been good with a clean slate and getting rid of old sites.
ReplyDeleteThe reading will come back, and I see plenty of board books in your future.
Congrats to you! Such happy news. I enjoyed your review above too about the sleep book. My friend is a mother of twin boys and she was forced into routine - keeping them on a consistent schedule - whatever that may be within your life - helped them to feel safe, secure and less stressed. Which led to easier down time and longer sleeping. But there is always something to interrupt - feedings, milk allergies, formula issues, ear infections, teething, etc. etc. etc. 12 hour uninterrupted nights are a dream - but not generally a reality from what the parents I know have told me!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and welcome back :) I just started my sixth month and anticipate reading withdrawal when my little one comes!
