Teaser Tuesday : 28 April 09

Teaser Tuesdays hosted by Should be Reading asks you to:
  • Grab your current read
  • Let the book fall open to a random page
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Do NOT post anything that could spoil the plot of the book!
I have just started this book so I will quote from the very first page.
"The creature drove its body again and again into the glass, unable to understand why the air had suddenly become impossible to move through, desperately searching for some way out."
Triskellion by Will Peterson Page Prologue (there was no number honest)

  2. I've seen birds do that with glass doors. Good tease!

  3. Book Bird Dog - I agree birds and all sort of other animals get confused with windows which is sad.

Stacybuckeye - I have since read further and it was a bee trying to get in the house. The bee survived and was not harmed in the reading of this book :)

  4. Hmmm - I've had birds, bees, and other bugs do that to our windows - no matter how I try to discourage them.

  6. Until Stacy mentioned it was a bee my thought was that it was a fly. I always feel sorry for them when they are in that panicked state. But they're usually too stupid to find the way out even when I open the window screen for them. Usually backfires on me and I end up with more dumn bugs coming into the house!

  8. Aww, that's sad! But I am glad that the bee is okay. I can sleep easier tonight. ;)
