Mt TBR Challenge

So over the next year the only challenge I am doing is working through my Mt TBR. I have listed all the books here in no particular order that are sitting in my cupboard. The point of this is I am trying not to buy books until this pile is significantly reduced or gone. I no longer have the space to stockpile books *boo*.

Though I am wavering already with a new Jim Butcher book due out and a couple of other books I have found that I am itching to get my hands on (such as the 3rd book in The Hunger Games trilogy). I guess I will just have to read faster so I can get to the books I want to read sooner.

  1. Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich

  2. My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding edited by PN Elrod

  3. Nobody's Princess by Esther Friesner

  4. Babylon's Ark by Lawrence Anthony with Graham Spence

  5. Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn

  6. The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison

  7. Carpe Demon - Adventures of a Demon Hunting Soccer Mum by Julie Kenner

  8. Stray by Rachel Vincent

  9. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

  10. Dixie Divas by Virginia Brown

  11. The Killing Hands by PD MArtin

  12. Mad Cow by Kathy Lette

  13. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

  14. Carbs & Cadavers by J.B STanley

  15. The Slippery Art of Book Reviewing by Mayra Calvani & Anne K. Edwards

  16. Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun by Victoria Laurie

  17. The Dead - Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan

  18. The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox

  19. At Graves End by Jeaniene Frost

  20. Fan Mail by PD MArtin

  21. Foetal Attraction by Kathy Lette

  1. Good luck with the challenge. This is a tough one as good books just call out to be bought. I would be very afraid to actually list all the unread books around our house. You got some good ones on your list. Plum Spooky was one of Evanovich's funniest books.

  2. I hear you about not wanting to buy books until your TBR mountain has started to decrease. I should make my TBR list as well, and make my way through it. The problem is, I want to read so many other books that I do not already own. So, I am using the library a lot these days. Using the library okay for you, or not?

I have several titles that you do sitting in my tbr pile. For me, The Graveyard will be read within these next two months, and then I am curious about my book, The Accidental Demon Slayer.

Are you saying that you have yet to read Hunger Games, and Catching Fire? If so, then you should really change that soon. This is a fantastic series.

Have fun reading your TBR mountain. :D

  4. Kaye - I know there are so many new books coming out I want to get my hands on. Doesnt help when I still read book blogs as well and find books I want.

ibeeg - I have read The Hunger Games, for some reason on the book I have that's how the itle is written. When my pile is reduced I think libraries, ebooks, and borrowed books will be the way I go.

Sally - I am sure I can be nice :)

  5. This is a difficult but worthy challenge. The only one I've read is Plum Spooky. At least it shouldn't take you too long to finish!
