On Movies - I love the 80's

Feature Presentation...

MONDAY MOVIE MEME

This week's movie topic is all about The '80's...

Time to get nostalgic. Share some of your favorite movies from the '80's. Well I was a child growing up in the 80's so most of my favorites are children movies. However once I got started thinking about the movies from the 80's it was hard to stop! I don't remember watching a lot of movies, I was more interested in climbing trees and watching Saturday cartoons. So the ones listed here are the ones I clearly remember watching (usually over and over).

  4. E.T. was the first movie I ever owned. I was scared to death by Gremlins. I still think they are scary! lol Ghostbusters and Star Wars were big with me, as was Back to the Future and Three Men and a Baby. I was just 10 when the 80s ended so I did not watch movies that I have seen since that are great 80s films (Breakfast Club, anyone?)

Also, I came by to tell you there is an award waiting for you over on my blog: http://imlostinbooks.blogspot.com/2009/06/bookfriends-award.html

  5. The Never Ending Story was one of my childhood favorites. I could watch that over and over. I've been meaning to read the book--I hadn't known until a couple of years ago the movie was based on an actual book.
