Teaser Tuesday : 3 March 09

Teaser Tuesdays hosted by Should Be Reading asks you to:
  • Grab your current read
  • Let the book fall open to a random page
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Do NOT post anything that could spoil the plot of the book!
" Push it firmly backwards? At which point of the attack, exaclty, should you start to push. Before or after the hungry feline has sunk its pointy teeth into your sweet, soft flesh?"

  1. LOL - that was one of the best scenes in the book - she spent that whole walk jumping every time a bush rustled in case it was a jaguar :)

  2. I loved the whole scene. I know this supposed to be random but that scene was just classic! Had to post it.

  3. Oh that sounds hilarious! I could use a good humorous book right now after all the tragedy I've been reading (slavery, witch hunts, the Holocaust, mental institutions....)

  4. I keep meaning to tell you: every time I see your blog name, I think: Narrative Casualty. :o)
